Be warned! There are certain groups and individuals on every server who openly choose to defy RoE. If you're solo, ask in-game on Galaxy Chat. If you're a member of an alliance, that's the best place to ask. These basic universal fundamentals of "RoE" are known as "Base RoE." Most of the player lingo you will encounter in STFC (and subsequently in this guide) is related in some form or another to the continual evolution of RoE so get yourself up to speed on the RoE that rules the land on the server where you game. That said, there are some core concepts, that are fairly universal game-wide which we will detail herein. Rather, the leading alliances of each game server has their own adaptations of RoE to serve their distinct interests and goals.
The term "Rules of Engagement" is a bit of a misnomer in that there is no official list of "Rules" that spans all of the game servers. The cornerstone principle of RoE is known as “ Fair Play.” Griefing, bullying, trolling, hogging up resources, or otherwise depriving other players from their own reasonable access and opportunity to enjoy the game all constitute violations of " Fair Play" and are therefore adamantly discouraged by RoE. The primary aim of RoE is to make player interaction more orderly and less chaotic with respect to warring, mining, raiding, and generally co-existing.

The only place to get this skin is during the occasional borg events that are run before battle passes. There is a skin for the Vi’dar which increases the amount of nanoprobes you get from killing borg probes by 50%. Probes spawn every couple hours, so don’t expect to get back to back probes in any system. It’ll take about 30 seconds to warp in, and a lot can happen in 30 seconds.Ĥ. Probes are only active for 10 minutes before they warp away, so if you’re not checking back consistently it can despawn before you get it.ģ. Be wary if other players are farming in that system, they’ll likely try to go straight for a probe and can beat you as you warp in.Ģ. When you’re normally farming borg, you should keep an eye out for these, but the easiest way to farm them is to sit in the hub between one of the sets of the borg systems. You have a chance for any of the rewards at a given level, but may get none of any as well (you will always get something, but not all). These are also in your Borg Tech Refinery, and have quite nice rewards when refined, which you can do once every five days. These drop a special item, Latinum Antiques.
